One of the hardest things I find about putting together a stunning trend forecasting presentation is, collecting the information and eye catching photos that are not totally out-dated. While researching kids trends for a freelance project i am working on, I hit the magazines to find anything that would inspire and give some hints of the trends to come for SS’12.
After sifting through the magazine racks at a couple book stores, a matte cover with its simple photo of a red-head girl wearing a pink shirt and bright red bow caught my eye. As it states on the cover, Papier Mache is “a very cute children’s magazine” - and it proves to be just that… and so much more. With its minimalist approach and beautiful layouts, Papier Mache made me fall in love at ‘first flip’.
