After a week of hectic running around, not living in one place for more then 3 days and feeling an over-whelming anxiety about the future; a rush of good news hit me over the head. Selected as one of the finalist in the Mercedes- Benz Start-up Plan and will be presenting my collection in Montreal Wednesday (Aug. 10 and 11). This all came so sudden! But isn’t that how it always happens?
Just when you think there are doors closing in your face, a (big) window opens… and this one opened with a breeze that lifted my head to breathe in the fresh air. To be appreciated for the work I do is validating and rewarding on so many levels regardless if I “win” or not, it’s a great opportunity!
And let’s face it, I wasn’t having the best day - so it came at a good time when I was feeling defeated.
